Y’all know I don’t do this often but I really like to support artists, LGS’s, and local players in my area so here goes:

Beginning of a New Era
Hey again!
Remember me? Still stuck finishing up finals. Lame. But I’d like to let y’all in on a secret of mine!
I’ve been wanting to start a new project at my shop where I interview players who come in and play regularly. The point is to let the faces of Magic become public, even when they’re not pro players or well-known players. Every area and LGS has this collection of people and I’d like to expose it. Every player, from the kitchen-table casual to the pro-tour professional, is a vital part of the world-wide Magic community. So, let’s get to know them!
Currently, I’m collecting a group of players at my shop to begin this adventure but I’d love to have some input from the Tumblr Magic community on what to name this segment and what kinds of questions to ask.
As of right now, my base list of questions is as follows:
- When & Why did you start playing Magic?
- Why do you continue to play it?
- What’s your favorite format & Why?
- What’s your favorite card & Why?
- Why do you love this game?
- What’s your favorite part about your LGS?
- What’s your favorite memory of the game/LGS?
